Accessibility

Toxic Backlink Checker should be usable by people who navigate with keyboards, assistive technologies, and varied vision needs. This statement describes our intent, what we already ship, where we know gaps remain, and how to report problems.

Commitment

We aim for clear structure, visible focus states, readable text, and controls that work without a pointer. New pages should reuse shared layout and UI components so headings, links, and forms stay consistent. We treat accessibility fixes as product work, not as optional polish.

Keyboard and interactive details

• Primary navigation and footer links are reachable by keyboard and show a visible focus outline using the site signal color.
• FAQ sections use native details / summary elements so expand and collapse works without custom JavaScript widgets.
• The scan form and contact form use labeled inputs. Required fields are marked in the markup where applicable.
• Decorative motion respects prefers-reduced-motion where animations are defined in global CSS.

Contrast and design tokens

Body copy targets strong contrast between --ink / --ink-soft text and the paper backgrounds defined in our design tokens. Interactive accents use --signal and --signal-deep. We avoid relying on color alone for critical meaning in core copy, and we keep focus outlines on interactive controls.

Known limitations

• Some dense data tables or long CSV-oriented exports are easier to review in a spreadsheet than in the browser alone.
• Third-party captcha widgets (when enabled) are controlled by the captcha provider and may not meet the same standards as our own markup.
• Occasional visual experiments on marketing sections may need follow-up passes for contrast or heading order as content grows.
