This page summarizes the practical controls that protect the free toxic backlink checker and the people who use it. We do not claim SOC 2, ISO, or other certifications we have not earned. If you need a formal attestation, ask by email before assuming one exists.
There is no signup and therefore no password vault, session store, or user profile database for the core tool. We process the domain you submit to return scan results. Technical details such as IP address, user agent, and timestamps may be used briefly for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
Each IP can start one new scan per day. Attempts to bypass that limit, scrape the API, or overload the service violate the terms of use and may be blocked. Limits exist both to control cost and to reduce automated abuse.
Scan results for a target may be cached for about 72 hours. Inside that window, reopening the same domain can reuse the shortlist without spending another daily scan. Cache entries are operational, not long-term user profiles. Rate-limit counters and server logs are retained only as long as needed for security and reliability, then rotated or discarded.
When enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile (or an equivalent captcha challenge configured for the deployment) may run before a scan completes. That control reduces bot abuse. Challenge widgets may set cookies or process technical signals according to the captcha provider's own terms. See the cookie policy and privacy policy for related details.
Hosting infrastructure serves the site. A commercial backlink index powers referring-domain lookups. An optional captcha provider may participate when challenges are enabled. Those processors receive what they need to fulfill the request. We do not sell scan inputs for advertising.
One new scan per IP per day, about 72 hours of result cache, and human review before any cleanup action.
